 | Dr. Paul Amalfitano PT, DPT, ATC | President NovaCare Rehabilitation president@briganitechamber.com Paul Amalfitano is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Certified Athletic Trainer with over 25+ years' experience and advanced training in orthopedics. Paul has been the manager of NovaCare Rehabilitation. Paul has a passion for health and wellness of all ages. As a former 2 sport collegiate athlete (Football/Rowing), Paul enjoys the wide variety of patients he can help in any given week. Originally from NY, Paul has been a resident of Brigantine for over 25 years, where along with his wife Kira he has raised 3 children (3rd generation Brigantine). Paul is a long time local sponsor of the Brigantine Triathlon, Brigantine Rams Youth Football Organization, Brigantine Baseball/Softball Association, and was a big part in the last Shark Park Playground Redevelopment Project years ago. As the President of the Brigantine Chamber, Paul is looking forward to the continued growth and prosperity of all on and around Brigantine island, as the Chamber crosses into its 100th year+ in existence. |
 | Alex Lukacher | Vice President Alex Lukacher-Solar4SouthJersey marketing@briganitechamber.com Alex Lukacher has been in the solar industry since 2014. You can spot Alex all over South Jersey - on social media, in the paper, on the radio, at events and even at Farmers Markets. Alex prides himself on standing out from other solar companies by focusing on the complete customer experience from an honest, integrity based education to a professional installation and even through long-term support. Impressively, over 98% of Alex's clients take full advantage of state and federal incentives by owning their solar systems. As a lifelong resident, Alex has always been deeply involved in the Somerdale, NJ community, even after moving to Brigantine. He coached Somerdale area and Sterling High School kids, ages 5-18, over the years in baseball while also serving on the board, as Baseball Commissioner and as President of Somerdale Baseball and Softball. Alex's love for Brigantine began with a few childhood visits to Brigantine Castle and the beach. After a few day trips down the White Horse Pike, he fell in love with Brigantine again, moving here part-time in 2018 and becoming a full-time resident in 2020. He joined the Brigantine Chamber of Commerce in 2016 and has been an active board member since 2020. Alex has been involved with many committees/projects such as Chamber Row at the Brigantine Farmers Market, Movies on the Beach and the growing in popularity Brigantine Beach Visitor Guide & Business Directory. Alex is passionate about supporting the community, local businesses, and the future of Brigantine. He gives back to local organizations whenever he can and often collaborates with island businesses, even giving out gift cards to his clients for local Chamber members. On top of all that, Alex is a die-hard Philly sports fan. That’s a passion that was passed down from his father and that he’s had since childhood in the 1970s. | Kim Schenck | Secretary Insurance Agencies, Inc. An 1988, Insurance Agencies, Inc. was formed as a partnership, linking together smaller independent agencies in NJ so customers can gain access to more insurance companies. Kim joined IAI in 2000 as Personal Lines Manager. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business from Richard Stockton College and maintains her NJ Property and Casualty Producer License, PA Non-Resident Producer License, and has a Certified Insurance Service Representative designation. In 2015, IAI opened a Branch office in Brigantine, NJ. Kim became a Board Member of the Brigantine Chamber of Commerce in 2017 and is currently Secretary. Kim was raised in Brigantine, so she is passionate about the coast and the communities that are bordered by it. | Barbara Rote | Treasurer Haven Homes Builders, LLC accounting@briganitechamber.com Barbara Rote is a longtime Brigantine resident and current treasurer of the Brigantine Chamber of Commerce. Barbara and her husband, Scott, own Haven Homes Builders, LLC and specialize in custom homes. Prior to retiring, Barbara taught 7th and 8th grade science in Berlin for 30 years. Barbara is currently the treasurer for the Chamber and chairs numerous events, including the Mister Rogers Project and the Shake the Shamrock Island Celebration. She launched the popular Beach Bonfires as well as the beautiful Seawall Wreath Selfie Station. Barbara believes that Brigantine is an incredible place to live and work and loves to highlight all that it has to offer to residents and visitors. |
Maria Sacco Handle | Past President Berkshire Hathaway Fox & Roach Realtors Maria Sacco Handle flipped her first house in 1999 at the age of 27 and has been buying, selling, and investing in real estate ever since. Covering all of South Jersey, Maria sells New Jersey Real Estate from Brigantine to Cape May and their mainland shores. She is certified in selling Resort and Second Homes, Luxury Homes, and Investment Properties. A Real Estate Marketing Leader and Syracuse Graduate, Maria relies on her Marketing and Advertising Education to make her properties stand out amongst the crowd. She has sharpened her talents by taking Technology and Social Media courses at Atlantic Cape Community College and The Art Institute of Philadelphia and is regarded as an Internet Marketing Guru among her peers. Maria is a coal-cracker at heart from Shenandoah, PA. She moved to the Jersey Shore in 1995 and currently lives in Brigantine with her husband Joe and three children. |  Sari Carroll Brigantine Aquatic Center Sari is the Executive Director of Green Whales Inc. and the program director at the Brigantine Aquatic Center. The daughter of a long time small business owner, a swim coach, and instructor, and event planner, and a race director that loves to serve the community that means so much to her. |
Michael James Aloha Tiki Cruises, LLC Michael James is an active member of the Brigantine Community, serving on the Brigantine Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Michael lives on the island year-round and is a well known radio personality in the South Jersey region for the last 25 years. He has been involved in stations including The Shark 103.7, 100.7 WZXL and WIBG Radio, Wibbage FM 94.3. Michael hosts Flashback Fridays, Fakefest, British Invasion, Deckstock and other events at Golden Nugget in Atlantic City. Michael is also the president and owner of three other local businesses, a charter boat company - Aloha Tiki Cruises LLC, a video screen company - SuperScreenRental.com and a DJ company - Disc Jockey Supply LLC. He is also the Owner/President of The Splash Media Billboard Boat.

Michael Riordan Keller Williams Realty Atlantic Shore Michael currently serves on the Board of Brigantine Chamber of Commerce. As a Realtor with Berkshire Hathaway Fox & Roach, he has successfully helped clients purchase and sell over $20 million in Brigantine and all over the South Jersey area. Michael is an active parishioner of St Thomas Church and belongs to the local Knights of Columbus, Brigantine Elks, and Brigantine Lions Associations. An elected representative on the island serving as Council-at-Large, Michael has a reputation for being fiscally conservative while helping cut taxes the last six years. Karen Santoroski Findings by Karen Karen moved to Brigantine in 2022 from Annapolis, Maryland. Before coming here, she had two very different careers—first as an accountant, and later as a lead surgical veterinary technician for a nonprofit. Both experiences taught her the value of care, precision, and attention to detail. After settling into Brigantine, Karen decided to follow her creative side and started her own small business, Findings by Karen, designing handcrafted jewelry. As a Chamber of Commerce business member since late 2023 and a Chamber board member since 2026, Karen truly enjoys her volunteer opportunities with the Chamber. She also loves giving back to the community by volunteering with local nonprofits whenever possible, including Brigantine Polar Bears, South Jersey Cancer Fund, and Brigantine VFW. |
